Common Name The Short Sepal Caladenia - The Short Sepaled Clown Orchid
Flower Size .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm]
Found in southwestern Western Australia in woodlands, mallee communities, salt lake margins and in paperbark forests at elevations around 10 to 250 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the later winter and earlier spring on an erect, 6 to 10" [15 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
