Uncommonly found in New Suth Wales Australia in Callistris woodlands at elevations of 80 to 100 meters as a small to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with an underground tuber giving rise to a single leaf that blooms in the mid winter through mid spring on an erect, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
