Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Reunion at elevations of 600 to 1400 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with elliptic, undulate, plicate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late summer and earlier fall on a basal, erect, 9.6" [24 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence

Often said to be a synonym of C sylvatica but differs mostly in the form of the lip as well as the callus at the base of the lip.
