Found in Vietnam in montane forests at elevations around 1100 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with very swollen below, narrowing above stems carrying to 8, erect, narrowly lanceolate, acute, 3 nerved, 6" [15 cm] long petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, arising from a lower leaf axil, peduncle to 4 to 6.4" [10 to 16 cm] long, rachis to 1.6 to 4" [4 to 10 cm] long, 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, slender, acuminate floral bracts and carrying orange flowers
