Common Name The Closed Caladenia - The Closed Fingers Orchid

Flower Size .4 to .6" [1 to 1.4 cm]

Found in New South Wales to Victoria Australia in moss pockets on rock plates or in stunted heathland in sandy soil at elevations of sea level to 50 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, thin, pubescent, linear leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, very thin, pubescent, 2 to 4.8" [5 to 12 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence and carrying flowers that just barely open.
