Common Name The Pretty Caladenia - The Neat Spider Orchid

Flower Size .6 to 1.2" [1.5 to 3 cm]

Found in New South Wales Australia on slopes and ridges in open callitris forests among sparse shrubs and herbs at elevations of 150 to 250 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the later winter and earlier spring on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
