Found in Sulawesi in wet soil amongst Pandanus at elevations of sealevel to 100 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with obscure pseudobulbs carrying 6, lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, gradually narrowing below into the channeled petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring through summer on an erect, terminal, puberulous, to 2' [60 cm] long, 15 flowered inflorescence with spreading, lanceolate, acute, pubescent, persistent floral bracts.
