Common Name The Drake-Like Caladenia - The Hinged Dragon Orchid

Flower Size .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm]

Found in Western Australia among shrubs in seasonally wet sites and around margins of salt lakes at elevations of 200 to 300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 4.8 to 12" [12 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
