Common Name The Hedgehog Like Lip Caladenia - The Fawn Spider Orchid

Flower Size 2.8 to 4.4" [7 to 11 cm]

Found in Tasmania in open forest, heathlands and coastal scrub at elevations around 10 to 150 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on an erect, 10 to 16" [25 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
