Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm] wide
Found in Papua New Guinea in humus in montane forests at elevations around 50 to 200 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with close set, small pseduobulbsa carrying 5 to 8, plicate, many nerved, oblong-lanceolate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate basae leaves that blooms in the late spring through fall on an elongate, peduncle terete, rachis to 12" [30 cm] long, overall to 44" [110 cm] long, moderately densely many flowered inflorescence with persistent, ovate-oblong floral bracts and carrying spreading, successively opening flowers.
