Common Name The Thread-Carrying Caladenia - The Blood Spider Orchid

Flower Size 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia in wandoo wodlands and she oak thickets at elevations around 200 to 350 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 6.4 to 10" [16 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
