Found in Victoria and South Australia at elevations of 100 to 250 meters in among grass and shrubs in heathy and grassy forests and woodlands as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, basal, pilose, linear, obtuse leaf that blooms in the spring on anm erect, 12 to 24" [230 to 60 cm] long, 1 to rarely 2 flowered inflorescence.
