Common Name The Dusky Caladenia - Dusky Fingers Orchid

Flower Size 5/8" [1.5 cm]

Found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia as well as New Zealand as miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid occuring in most types of forest habitat, at times growing in what appears to be rock-hard dirt at elevations of sea level to 800 meters with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, thin, 6" [15 cm] tall, single flowered inflorescence.
