Common Name Gardner's Caladenia - The Cherry Spider Orchid

Flower Size 1.6 to 3.2" [4 to 8 cm]

Found in southwest Western Australia in coastal scrub and heath on stabilized dunes at elevations around sealevel to 50 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf and blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 10" [10 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
