Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm across]
Found in southeastern Queensland and northeastern New South Wales in coastal heathlands amid low wiry shrubs and alos in mountains around swamps and seepages at elevations of sea level to 1000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a very slender stem with 2 to 3, 2 scarious,uppermost elongate, loosely sheathing bractsa fully developed leaf at blooming, occuring in the mid winter and spring on an erect, 12 to 24" [30 to 60 cm] long, wiry, 1 to 15 flowered inflorescence carrying short lived flowers.
