Found in the Phillipines in montane forests at elevations of 700 to 1260 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with slender pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 5, oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring and fall on a shorter than the leaves, peduncle with several, sterile sheaths, to 8" [20 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with concave, lanceolate, acute longer than the pedicels floral bracts.
