Common Name The Winter Blooming Caladenia - Dwarf Common Spider Orchid

Flower Size 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia at elevations of 30 to 350 meters in winter wet areas of Wandoo woodlands and among she-oaks as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a single, basal, pilose leaf that blooms in the winter on an erect, 6 to 12 [15 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
