Common Name Hoffman's Caladenia - Hoffman's Spider Orchid
Flower Size 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm]
Found in southwest Western Australia in dense shruby heath on rocky hillsides at elevations of 20 to 150 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, erect, pubescent, linear leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 4.8 to 12" [12 to 30 cm] long, stem carrying 1 to 2 flowers.
