Common Name The Swollen Caladenia - The Puppet Clown Orchid

Flower Size .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia in under shrubs on southern slopes of ironstone hills and in seasonal watercourses or on granite outcrops at elevations around 250 to 400 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the later winter and earlier spring on an erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
