Common Name The Insular Caladenia - The French Island Spider Orchid

Found in French Island, Victoria, Australia at elevations of sealevel to 50 meters in dense heath and heathy forests as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 12 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, 1 to rarely 2 flowered inflorescence.
