Common Name The Johor Calanthe [A state of Malaysia]

Found in Johor state of penninsular Malayasia at elevations around 400 meters as a large sized, hot growing terrestrial with wide, plicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, to 32" [80 cm] long, rachis to 12" [30 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with deciduous, cadacous, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white flowers.
