Found in northern Guangdong province of China at elevations around 100 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with conic, small pseudobulbs with 3 sheaths and carrying a single, plicate, not well developed at blooming, not deciduous, broadly elliptic, glabrous, slightly undulate margins, acute, gradually narrowing below into the slender, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, puberulent, to 14" [35 cm] long, laxly 4 to 5 flowered inflorescence,
