Common Name Lodge's Caladenia - Lodge's Spider Orchid

Flower Size 2 to 4" [5 to 10 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia in dense low scrub on the margins of winter wet swamps and runoffs around granite outcrops at elevations around 5 to 60 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
