Common Name The Long Fringed Caladenia - The Fringed Orchid

Flower Size 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia in near streams in woodlands and she oak thickets at elevations of 5 to 100 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 5.6 to 10" [14 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
