Found in South Australia in heathy woodlands and open forests on sandy loams at elevations up to 50 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, pilose, linear leaf that is withered by blooming occuring in the late spring and early summer on an erect, 7" [17.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescnece
