Found in southwest Western Australia near to the coast in swamps, seepage areas and drainage lines at elvations of 5 to 150 meters as a smallo to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, fully developed at blooming leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 6 to 24" [15 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 7 flowered inflorescence
