Common Name The Ovate Caladenia - The Kangaroo Island Spider Orchid

Flower Size 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm]

Found in South Australia in shrubby heathlands among dense shrubs at elevations of 5 to 80 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 12" [10 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
