Found in New South Wales Australia in heathlands and heathy forests in sand at elevations of sealevel to 350 meters as a cold growing terrestrial with a single, narrowly linear, acute leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, pubescent, 8 to 14" [20 to 35 cm] long, single flowered infloresence and carrying musky scented flowers.
