Found in southwestern Western Australia along drainage lines in wandoo forests at elevations around 200 to 250 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the earlier spring on an erect, 6.4 to 8" [16 to 20 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
