Common Name The Splendid Caladenia - The Splendid Spider Orchid
Flower Size 4 to 8.8" [10 to 22 cm]
Found in southwest Western Australia at elevations of 100 to 250 meters in waterlogged flats gullies and margins of rock outcrops as a medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 12 to 32" [30 to 80 cm] long, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
