This miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial species is from Victoria occuring in Yellow Gum flats and South Australia at elevations of 100 to 450 meters in grasses and shrubs in woodlands in brown sandy loam with a single, basal leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 3.2" to 8" [8 to 20 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
