Found in Western Australia near Irwin on sandstone under bushes, mallee scrublands and in sand under shrubby she-oaks at elevations of 50 to 200 meters as a highly localized, miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, pubescent, linear leaf and blooming in the late winter and early spring on an erect 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long flowering stem carrying 1 to 2, small flowers.
