Common Name Winfield's Caladenia - The Majestic Spider Orchid
Flower Size 2 to 4" [2 to 10 cm]
Found in southwest Western Australia in flats in low woodlands along drainage lines at elevations around 270 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf and blooms in the spring on an erect, 12 to 24" [30 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
