Found in South Australia on rocky slopes among shrubs and on ledges in sparse forests at elevations of 400 to 650 meters as a small to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the winter on na erect 8 to 14" [20 to 35 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence
