Found in Los Rios Ecuador as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a thin stem enveloped completely by imbricating conduplicate sheaths carrying deciduous, numerous, distichous, patent, glabrous, narrowly oblong-elliptic, obtuse apically, narrowing below into the sessile base leaves that blooms on a filiform, lateral, racemose, shorter than the leaves, to .12" [3 mm] long, with small white flowers.
