Common Name or Meaning The Colombian Campylocentrum

Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations around 70 to 1200 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate, flexuous, glabrous stem carrying erect-patent, oblong to ligulate-oblong, unequally obtuse to obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms on a lateral, racemose, .6 to 1.2" [1.5 to 3 cm] long, densely many flowered, secund inflorescence with triangular-ovate, apiculate floral bracts.

CAUTION Some references put this species as a synonym of C micranthum but this one has the spur directed forward while C micranthum has the spur directed towards the rear.
