Found in central Ecuador at elevations of 1500 to 1800 metrers as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short, often basally branching stem carrying imbricating, distichous, thick, fleshy, oblong-ovate, acute leaves that blooms in the summer and earlier fall on a shorter than the leaf, .4" [1 cm] long, sucessively several, many flowered inflorescence with small, triangular floral bracts.
