Found in Venezuela, northern Brazil and Ecuador at elevations around 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped completely by conduplicate leaf sheaths carrying numerous, distichous, wide spreading, narrowly oblong, obliquely obtuse apically, slightly contracted into the sessile base leaves that blooms in the spring through fall on lateral, racemose, peduncle filiform, to .12" [3 mm] long, shorter than the leaves, distichously arranged, to 1" [2.5 cm] long, glabrous, densely many flowered inflorescence
