Found in Venezuela, Surinam and northern and eastern Brazil as asmall sized, hot growing leafy epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped completly by leaf sheaths carrying narrowly linear, acute to obtuse, slightly contracted below into the sesile base leaves that blooms on short, to .4" [1 cm] long, densely several flowered inflorescence.
