Found in Minas Gerias, Sao Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul Brazil as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with oval-oblong pseudobulbs enveloped by a diaphanous sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, cylinrical, somewhat sulcate leaf that blooms on a basal, shorter than the leaf, 1.2" [3 cm] long, racemose, few flowered inflorescence
