Found in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul states of Brazil at elevations between 500 and 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with subconical pseudobulbs carrying 4, linear-lanceolate, medium green leaves taht blooms in the fall on a basal, 8" [20 cm] long, arching, to 4 flowered inflorescence
