Found in Rondonia state of Brazil in Amazonian rainforests at elevations of 300 to 400 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphytic natural hybrid between C. denticulatum × C. tigrinum with clustered, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying up to 7, oblong-lanceolate, deciduous, acute apically, narrowing below into the pseudo-petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring throough fall on a basal, arching, to [16 cm] long overall, rachis to 1/3 the length overall, , to 9 flowered inflorescence with 4 lanceolate bracts and carrying resupinate flowers. .
