Common Name Macedo's Catasetum [Brazilian discover of species current]

Found in Roraima state of Brazil at elevations around 90 meters as a medium sized, hot growing, natural hybrid between C macrocarpum and C saccatum with oblong-fusiform, several noded, sulcate and rugose with age pseudobulbs carrying oblong-lanceolate, margin undulate, prominent veined dorasally, plicate leaves that blooms in the fall on a male, lateral, erect, 6" [15 cm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence carrying generally non-resupinate flowers
