Found in Rondonia state of Brazil in Amazonian forests at elevations of 300 to 400 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphytic natural hybrid between C ariquemense and C denticulatum with clustered, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying 6, oblong-lanceolate, deciduous, acute, narrowing below into the pseudopetiolate base leaves that blooms in the lare spring on a basal, arching, rachis 1/2 the total length, to 5.6" [14 cm] long, to 7 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate bracts and carrying resupinate flowers.
