Common Name The Many Fingered Catasetum

Found in Loreto department of Peru in lowland tropical rain forests at elevations around 220 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with fusiform pseudobulbs carrying narrowly elliptic-oblanceolate, acuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an arching, peduncle to 4" [10 cm] long, to 12" [30 cm] long overall, 14 to 18 flowered inflorescence with small ovate-triangular floral bracts.
