Found in Ucayali department of Peru at elevations around 200 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with fusiform pseudobulbsa carrying 5 to 7, elliptic-oblanceolate,acuminate, petiolate base leaves taht blooms in the late spring on an arching, peduncle to 6" [15 cm] long, 12" [30 cm] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts and carrying flowers that smell strongly of black pepper.
