Found in Amazonas state of Brazil at elevations around 200 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with fusiform, several noded, sulcate and rugose with age pseudobulbs carrying oblong-lanceolate, green, margins undulate, prominent veind dorsally leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on a male, lateral, sinuous, shorter than the leaves, to 7" [17.5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.
