Found in Minas Gerais, Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo and Parana' states of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with very clustered, fusiform-oblong, dark green, longitudinally ribbed with age pseudobulbs with a few basal sheaths and carrying a single, erect, dark green, coricaeous,linear, acute, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the summer on a basal, 2" [5 cm] long, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence
