Common Name The Nan Ling Cephalanthera

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in central Taiwan in broad leaved forests at elevations of 1400 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an ascending rhizome giving rise to an erect, reddish brown, black spotted, unbranced stem with several dark brown sheaths that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terminal, 1.2" to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescnece with persistent, ovate floral bracts.
