Found in eastern Java in primary forests at elevations around 1700 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with terete, closely enveloped by scaly sheaths, stems carrying a single, narrowly lanceolate to almost linear, pale green, thick, fleshy, minutely unequally bilobed apically, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on one to two per stem, long, hairy pediceled inflorescence
